東華附小師生團於2015年7月1日至7月6日訪問新加坡，本校由學期中甄選出的31位四、五年級學生出訪新加坡星爍小學，此出訪由總務處陳錫慧主任、李靜琪主任和賴榮興老師帶隊。此行主旨為體驗星爍小學開放而多元的課程，「水資源」與「多元文化」專題課程也讓學生見識到新加坡所開發「新生水」 的努力與創意，而多元族群共存共榮的和諧之美，也帶給交流團員深刻的啟發。
除了參訪星爍小學，此行也希望同學們藉這次的機會了解其他民族的文化。因此多元文化的行程我們安排參觀馬來文化村、甘榜格南(新加坡馬來族皇室居住地點)、阿拉伯街、牛車水(新加坡唐人街)。之後，我們到裕廊飛禽公園，觀賞園區內的600百多種鳥類，以及遊訪胡姬花園，欣賞花園內號稱收藏多達2000種蘭花的的國立蘭花園。最後，我們去欣賞當地著名的擎天樹燈光秀和空中走廊，和同學們最期待的環球影城遊樂園。
交流團回台後，團員利用開學前排練成果發表會，於9月21日的兒童朝會時間，透過簡報、有獎徵答、戲劇表演、紀念品展示等方式，與全校師生分享新加坡文化交流的見聞，交流團老師並在2016年的國際教育研討會分享新生水的所見所聞。
DHPS cultural delegation, composed of 31 students and teachers, visited Innova Primary School, Singapore, from July 1 to July 6 in 2015. In our visit, not only did DHPS students participate in the daily local classes, with their assigned local students as their buddy, but also went to well known scenic, historic, monumental sites.
Singapore consists of people from many races and countries, yet their harmony and peace have been profound and to great success. Therefore, in order to have more insights to the harmonic racial coexistence, we visited Malaysian cultural site, Chinatown, Kampong Glam (Home to the royalties of Singapore) and Little India. We also went to National Orchid Garden, which claims to have approximately 2000 kinds of Orchid, and Jurong Bird Park for its vast collection of bird species. Apart from the cultural tours, since learning the water supply and recycling systems in Singapore is one of the main objectives of the exchange program, we also visited the NEWater Museum.
